Hello hello hello my darlings! It’s been a while since I’ve written anything about my work or my sex life. This blogpost will be about the former. My recent photoshoot with my amazing, sweet and fun friend Kai (otherwise known as Mistress Kat or CuteKittenKink) was over a month ago and I feel now is the perfect time to talk about it. So get a cuppa, settle down and lets talk about what a kink style photoshoot actually looks like, because its not what people assume.
Kai got in touch to ask if I’d chaperone them to a photoshoot in a dungeon in Edinburgh. It is wise, for those of you looking to get into any sort of modelling, to always take a chaperone with you when you’re working with a new photographer, even more so when it’s in an environment like a dungeon. Of course I happily agreed. The photoshoot was for Kai to showcase both their latex nurses outfit, as well as to have an opportunity to show the progress of their transition so far. Kai came out as transgender over a year ago and has been inspirational to many people in the transgender community. They’ve been very open and honest about the process, the ups, downs, surprises and everything else in between. I’m very proud to be their friend and of the amazing person they are!
Now I’ve got the soppy shit is out of the way… the idea was that I should bring some lingerie and outfits of my own, and we could potentially do a few minor photo sets together if time permitted, or I could work on some photos of my own. Even if nether of those happened, I was excited to see Kai actually working. We’d been friends for over a year, but we’d never worked in the same environment so it was going to be an interesting test on how compatible we would be in that regard.
Kai picked me up at about 8am and we headed through to Edinburgh. Once we got parked up, we had a bit of a walk down to the dungeon, which is squirrelled away down the Leith side of the city centre. While wandering down we bumped into our photographer Lex (find their insta here) along with his assistant Tommi. That was actually a really good way of starting the shoot, because it meant we ended up with 15 minutes to kill and get to know each other. Both Lex and Tommi were lovely humans, and we went back up the street (on the recommendation of Kai’s partner) to this cute little coffee shop where we could grab tea, coffee and breakfast before heading in.
Now I’ve not been in a dungeon for a very long time, but I immediately felt very comfortable. It was small, but cosy and really well arranged. For such a small space they had managed to include so many options for various types of play, while keeping the feel of the place cohesive. It had a delicious vintage type feel to it, with big dark wooden fixtures housing the toys and impact tools. There was a medical playroom in the back, as well as a basement with further toys and set ups to explore. All in all I was very impressed and can’t compliment the owners enough for creating a great space! Oh, and I found several dildos that both terrified me and sparked my curiosity in a masochistic type way!
Kai started getting ready, and I helped Lex and Tommi get set up. I wasn’t much help in terms of that, Lex knew what he was doing and was super efficient sorting the lighting and all other required goodies. When Kai was ready they began with a set of photos on the throne, followed by a few more on the spanking bench. Kai looked great! Properly showing the best of their dominant energy and basking in the dungeon environment. It just goes to show you can be incredibly sexy while still having all of your clothes on. It’s about presence, not about how naked you are. While this was going on, I caught some behind the scenes videos and photos for Kai and Lex to use, and did my own makeup. We’d found a vintage feather duster, and I had a set of black and white lingerie with me that would work really well as a naughty maid, so I got myself changed.
Now I’m sure you’re all thinking that this must have been a super sexually charged shoot for me and Kai, but honestly nothing could be further from the truth. For one, there was nothing real about the dynamic we were modelling. Kai and I are very good friends and we support each other a lot in our work, but the sexual energy was not what you would think at all. We spent most of the time trying not to make each other laugh between photos, or trying to stare each other out until one of us had to laugh and look away. We danced around, had random sing songs and generally messed around. Kinky photoshoots can be highly sexually charged, but in my experience they are far more likely to be silly, full of laughter and general childish nonsense, along with the professionalism to achieve the desired photos. They’re rarely taken during real scenes and instead it’s all based on modelling and acting the part for the time the camera takes to capture the moment.
So I ended up with my hands restrained above my head, with Kai turning the crank so it was higher or lower, as required. We got some great photos of me on my knees first (which Lex gave me a cushion for, because they are a wee star!) before Kai and I started doing some photos together. Between photos we might… maybe… have had a little sing to You Spin Me Round (Like a Record) while I demonstrated that I could, in fact, spin all the way around with my hands attached to the rig. Yes we are children… deal with it! Lex handed Kai one of the more interesting looking floggers and we did a few gorgeous photos with Kai resting the flogger over my torso. I got to do my best submissive face as I looked up at Kai, which was kind of odd given I wasn’t actually feeling submissive. But I’m a (mattress)actress and I know my role as bottom bitch. Lex got several other photos, including one of my personal favourites, which you’ll see below. They also captured a few of Kai choosing evil implements of torture, with my ass in the foreground of the shot. Lex had loads of creative ideas with angles, which I live for in a photographer! After that I was unshackled and we did one or two photos with Kai on the sofa and myself standing behind them with the feather duster.
We had a quick intermission at this point, because Kai had to get into their latex nurses outfit. If you’ve never tried latex, I would recommend it, because it is one hell of an experience! I don’t personally own more than latex gloves and stockings, and even those I find hard to get on. Watching Kai do it I was able to pick up a few tips and tricks that I hadn’t considered before, but I am by no means a latex expert. I think the main trick is to have someone else to pull up the zipper! Once Kai was all dressed and I had helped them shine up their latex (I got to shine Kai’s ass! Be jealous!) they went into the medical room with Lex to do a series of photos of the sadistic nurse in their natural habitat. I spent most of that time padding around and finding weird and wonderful toys. I found a dildo that could only be described as the erection of the Incredible Hulk. It was thicker than my arm! I swear anyone that has managed to get bad boy inside any of their orifices is a uniquely talented individual. Tommi was also exploring and found loads of corsets, outfits and shoes, as well as a horse mask that left me with many, many questions.
Kai gave me a shout and asked if I fancied taking some photos as a patient in the medical chair. I was already changed back into my leggings and sports bra, but I took my leggings off and put on the patient gown that was available. It looked like I was naked underneath and I’m sure I’ve just destroyed the fantasies of many of my readers when I tell you I was wearing a sports bra and granny panties. Illusions shattered! Now this photo set had the potential to actually get me in a submissive headspace, simply because of the angles involved. I was on the medical chair, with my legs in the stirrups and Kai was pacing around me, at different angles with different implements and doing lots of heavy eye contact. Never mind the fact that Kai was now 6 inches taller than me in those latex hooker heels! How they can walk in those I will never understand, but it definitely helped me with a tiny little bit of genuine subby feels. I think my favourite photos of the shoot were taken in the medical room, but unfortunately I can’t share them here with you as Kai and I have a plan for the release of that mini set on our premium pages. Tommi swapped in after me, and they did a few more photos with a male patient, leaning on the cock lock/keyholder kink. I got a little behind the scenes footage after I got back into my muggle clothes. From whore to gremlin in 0.6 seconds. I started helping to tidy around and make sure we had put everything where it was meant to be, and cleaned anything that required cleaning. In this case the cleaning was a quick job since we didn’t actually use any of the available toys or implements in any way outside of lifting or posing with them, but still, if you hire a dungeon you make sure everything is sanitary and tidied away. I want to be invited back!
Kai came through and I helped them out of their latex, and they did one final mini photo set using the scariest flogger I’ve ever seen in my life. I swear to god this thing looked like it came from the minds of the most sadistic Sith Lord and the Witch-King of Angmar (if you get that reference we can be friends). It had metal spikes coming out the handle and was seriously weighted. That thing would have a serious sting and we all handled it with caution. The nudes were very sexy, and although Kai was losing energy at this point because it had been a very long day, they still showed so much confidence and power in their poses.
That was a wrap, and Kai got back into their own muggle clothes with a great deal of relief. As I said, it had been a long day and modelling takes a lot out of you. I was starting to drop myself, not least because I had been sleep deprived the night before and hadn’t eaten nearly enough at that point of the day. Kai decided to treat me to lunch as a thank you for chaperoning them and we decided to go to the ramen place in the St James’ Quarter where we’d parked. Lex and Tommi came with us. Lunch was delicious and very needed, but we definitely put ourselves in a food coma. We were half asleep by the end of it and had the long drive home to consider. Saying goodbye to Lex and Tommi, we headed to the car and the drive back.
And that’s a wrap! Kai and I had a debrief in the car on the way back and agreed that we were really comfortable working with each other, and plan on exploring that more in the near future. I reiterated to them how proud I was of them and that they looked amazing throughout, while also praising their professionalism, particularly since they had to put up with my personal brand of nonsense all day! We received the photos back and although the lighting caused a few teething issues with the quality of the final photos, we learned loads and overall it was a good experience. I would highly recommend Lex as a photographer. Their direction skills and creativity gave them an edge that I’ve found a lot of photographers lack. They were also very open to feedback about everything regarding the photoshoot, which I find an immediate green flag in a photographer! If they are open to feedback, then they are always aiming to be the best they can be, and that’s awesome.
